As part of our commitment to becoming Net Zero, we’re proud to be launching a free bus travel scheme for our occupiers here at Birchwood Park.
Available as a free bus travel ticket via the Parklife app to our Park’s occupiers and their employees only, the scheme has been launched to reduce car usage, contributing to environment sustainability, whilst helping employees save money during the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.
Officially launched at the beginning of November, teams based on Birchwood Park can now benefit from free bus travel on Warrington’s Own Buses to-and- from their home in Warrington all the way to Birchwood Park, Monday to Friday from 7am – 8pm.
This is only available via the latest version of the Parklife app. Click into the travel section to download the free digital bus ticket, to then generate a ticket for the single use QR code. This is a limited time QR do not generate a ticket until you are ready to use. Show the QR code to the driver to scan and claim your free bus travel.
The Park’s Commercial Director, Martin O’Rourke, commented: “The free bus scheme is something we have had in the pipeline for a long time now and we’re thrilled to be supporting occupiers across the Park in their local recruitment drive, as well as giving their staff reduced costs to travel to work each day.
“Not only will occupiers be saving money, but the free bus scheme will make greener travel options available to the many, ensuring we can remain on track towards Net Zero.”
Free bus travel will also help support occupiers in recruitment, by making it easier for staff based locally to get to work without a vehicle.
The free bus scheme is a brand-new service and our team will endeavor to do the very best to resolve any bugs and issues that may arise in the first few weeks. If businesses have any issues using the service, we recommend getting in touch via: travel@birchwoodpark.co.uk.
